Attendance/ Late Arrival Policy
Attendance and participation in therapy, along with compliance with any associated home programs, are essential for therapeutic success.
While Coastal Speech Therapy Solutions, PLLC understands that illnesses and emergencies occur, we respectfully request that you avoid frequent cancellations or “no shows”. Please adhere to our following policy regarding providing our office with advance notification for any cancellations resulting from a conflicting appointment, vacation, obligations for work or family, or any other event.
☐ All cancellations must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment, unless it is an emergency situation.
☐ If you reschedule 3 or more appointments within a 30-day period, the office will reserve the right to discharge the client.
☐ If you fail to appear for an appointment (no show) without providing the appropriate advance notification for 2 or more appointments within a 30-day period, the office will reserve the right to cancel all pending appointments and to no longer offer services to you as a client.
☐ Contact the office as soon as possible if you will not arrive on time to the appointment. It may be necessary to reschedule the appointment for a different day so that you can receive all minutes agreed upon in the plan of care. If you arrive late for a scheduled appointment, the session will still end at the scheduled time or may need to be cancelled.
☐ If you are more than 10 minutes late for a 30 minute session or more than 20 minutes late for a 45 minute session, for 3 appointments with in a 30-day period, the office will reserve the right to discharge the client.
